Rumi’s Kitchen
A Persian restaurant founded by Chef Ali Mesghali, who grew up in Esfahan, Iran, and Los Angeles, and named for the 13th-century poet Rumi. Since opening in Atlanta’s Sandy Springs in the mid-2000s, it has expanded to Midtown Atlanta, Alpharetta, Washington, D.C., Houston, and Los Angeles. Charcoal-grilled kebabs, fragrant rice, and generous Persian hospitality have earned it a 4.9-star rating from thousands of diners and recognition from Time Out as one of the best Persian restaurants in America.
